This was a semester-long book we were challenged to create alongside our other work, which was divided into three sections: Think, Do, and Make. The project served as a space to document thoughts, experimentation, creative process, and completed design work throughout the semester.
Motivation
This project became a creative outlet during the semester, allowing me to work through ideas, emotions, and experimentation in a less structured way. It encouraged my creative freedom, reflection, and trying new design approaches without focusing solely on polished final outcomes.
Process
The THINK section focused on reflection and personal thought throughout the semester. DO documented experimentation, exploration, and hands-on design exercises, while MAKE showcased completed course projects and final design outcomes. Put together the book to create a visual timeline of both personal and creative growth over the course of the semester.
Outcome
The final process book captured both the creative and emotional side of the design process while highlighting experimentation and growth. This project reinforced the value of reflection, exploration, and creative freedom within my overall design practice.
